My birthday has just passed. I have got 1 birthday card only, which is from my husband. And some e-cards from my friends.

This shop has impressed me much by the unique styles of the cards. The cards are not simply made of paper. Beads, charms, buttons etc are applied on the design which make the cards so special and beautiful.

The first one which caught my eyes is this pink one. The flowers on it are beautiful and the beads match each other.



This card is a great choice to sewers. Isn't it wise to put part of unused jeans on the design ?




I love bears ! So I love this card too. Don't you think this bear is so cute ? I think it is suitable to children.

What is the first thing in your mind when we talk about birthday ?
Birthday cakes would be the first in my mine.

I met Icinginmykitchen in Do You Etsy? attracted by her beautiful cakes. I thought the cakes are real at my first sight !
She make beautiful and 'seems to be delicious' faux cupcakes, cakes & chocolates.
The pictures in the shop are good, making the cakes more attractive.

September Topic - Birthday

My mother's, my mother-in-law's and my birthday is in September. Hence, this month topic will be birthday.

I was attracted by the cute girl on the package, with a lovely belly and a button on it.
You can find ponytail holders made of fabric covered buttons in the shop. The ponytail holders are absolutely suitable to school girls.

You can choose to have a pair of ponytail holders or a single one from the shop. I love the cute turtle very much.
You can also find cute rings in the shop which I believe many kids may like them.

My school was very strict, we could only wear ponytail holders, hair clip etc in pure brown and navy blue. We could never have such cute accessories on our heads.

I believe the shop will be in great success if the photos can be clearer.

If you search back to school card, you may easily find melijustcole. Although there are a few items only in the shop, they are adorable and 3 of them are for back to school.

The one which caught my sight first was DON'T MISS THE BUS handmade greeting card. I like the background of the card and the cute bus. It has an interesting name too.



My parents used to give me a red pocket on my first day to school every year. I am not sure if it is a tradition of Chinese or my family only. However, I do believe that this is a way my parents expressing how they place importance on my school life.

It would be great if you give a back to school gift to school kids, show them your love !

I knew lilblackdog from Etsy chatroom. I was so impressed by the lovely handpainted bookmarks in the shop and decided to choose it as my first post for Back to School.

The bookmarks are colorful with lovely flower or animals on them. They make me think of my school years. I loved to collect bookmarks and give them to my friends as Christmas cards. Sometimes I enclosed the bookmarks in the letters to my friends. (We wrote letters to each other even we meet at school everyday. Romatic, right ?)

I believe bookmarks would be a lovely back to school gifts to your friends.

Topic in August - Back to Schools

I miss my school dates. It should be summer holidays in HK now and children are going back to school in a few weeks.
Every year in this period, I would be looking forward to my next school year. I was eager to know what I was going to learn and tried to go through my new books.
